1. Consultation & divider selection — divider type chosen to the room and the purpose; opening measured.
2. Survey & setting-out — floor, ceiling, and services checked; divider line and any pass-through set out.
3. Frame & build — frame fixed and boards worked for gypsum; track, posts, or frame set and panels/slats/glazing fitted for the others.
4. Finish, snag & handover — taped, skimmed, finished, snagged against the design, room handed over clean.

Materials & Real Standards

• ASTM C1396 / EN 520 — gypsum/plasterboard specification for the board used in gypsum partitions (incl. Type X fire-rated board where a genuine fire rating is required)
• Glass partitions are specified by glass type, thickness, and framing to the opening and the brief — described qualitatively; we do not attach a fabricated partition standard
• Slatted and timber dividers are a craft finish — quality comes from sound framing, fixing, and setting-out, not a product certificate
• Decorative screens are specified by material and fixing to the room — there is no product standard we claim for them
